The results of the second round of graduate student applications for international students for the Fall Semester of the 2026–2027 academic year have been announced.

The results of the second round of graduate student applications for international students for the Fall Semester of the 2026–2027 academic year have been announced.

Candidates who have gained the right to final registration must pay their tuition fees between August 03-14, 2026 (by 11:59 PM on August 14, 2026). Admission letters will be sent to students who pay their tuition fees by the specified date after August 12, 2026.

Candidates who submit the original documents and complete their final registration between August 17-28, 2026, will begin their graduate studies as of the Fall semester of the 2026–2027 academic year. Candidates who fail to submit the original documents by the specified date personally will not have their final registrations completed. Tuition fees paid by students who do not complete the final registration process will not be refunded.

Students already enrolled in a thesis-based master’s or doctoral program cannot finalise their registration.

Required Documents for Final Registration
  • For applicants to Master's Programs, photocopies of the Bachelor's diploma; for applicants to Doctoral Programs, photocopies of the Bachelor's and Master's with Thesis diplomas (graduation certificate) are required, and the original documents are also necessary for the verification of the photocopies (an Apostille is required for those obtained abroad)
  • For applicants to Master's Programs, photocopies of the Bachelor's transcript; for applicants to Doctoral Programs, photocopies of the Bachelor's and Master's with Thesis transcripts (graduation transcript) are required, and the original documents are also necessary for the verification of the photocopies (an Apostille is required for those obtained abroad)
  • Turkish translations approved by a notary or a Turkish Representation of the Bachelor's diploma (graduation certificate) for Master's applicants; and of the Bachelor's and Master's with Thesis diplomas (graduation certificates), transcripts (graduation transcripts), and Passport for Doctoral applicants
  • Students who graduated from a university in Türkiye may submit printouts of their Graduation and Transcript documents obtained by downloading them from e-devlet.
  • For doctoral programs, an international foreign language result document from YDS, YÖKDİL, or an equivalent recognized by YÖK, obtained within the last 5 years
  • Passport document [the passport must contain a border gate entry stamp and a visa sticker (except for those within the scope of visa exemption).]
  • A document showing legal stay status in Türkiye (one of the following: visa, residence permit, stateless person identity document, international protection identity document, temporary protection identity document, work permit, work permit exemption certificate, Blue Card, or Foreign Mission Personnel/Family Member Identity Card)
  • 1 passport-sized photograph (taken within the last six months)
  • For bachelor's and master's diplomas obtained from abroad, excluding health fields, a recognition certificate obtained from the Council of Higher Education regarding whether the institutions where they previously studied are recognized (except for refugees)
  • For bachelor's and master's diplomas obtained abroad for health fields with clinical practice, a Diploma Equivalency Certificate
  • Document confirming payment of tuition fees (Receipt)
  • Turkish Proficiency Certificate obtained from exams organized by institutions recognized by YÖK, if available
  • Student residence permit to be obtained from the Directorate of Migration Management (to be submitted to the Graduate School within one month at the latest after registration.)
NoteFor students who have a YÖK equivalency certificate or a graduation recognition certificate, a notarized copy of the diploma (graduation certificate) is not required.

Fees must be paid using the student number via Ziraat Bank Mobile Banking or ATM. Payments should not be made to the IBAN under any circumstances.

If there is a change in tuition fees as a result of the “2026-2027 Eğitim-Öğretim Yılında Yükseköğretim Kurumlarında Cari Hizmet Maliyetlerine Öğrenci Katkısı Olarak Alınacak Katkı Payları ve Öğrenim Ücretlerinin Tespitine Dair Karar” to be published by the Presidency, the difference will be reflected in the 2026-2027 Academic Year Fall Semester tuition fee. 

 
Additionally, international students must deposit a security fee of 5,000 ₺ when submitting their final registration documents in person.

Students who complete the final registration process but do not have a Turkish Language Proficiency Certificate will be enrolled in the Turkish Language Preparatory Program. Such students must obtain a language proficiency certificate at a minimum C1 level within one year. Students who have completed their registration but do not possess a C1 certificate must exclusively register with the Bartın University Turkish Language Teaching Application and Research Center (TÖMER) and complete their studies there.
